Group No. : 1
Panagbenga Festival
Brief Description :
The Panagbenga Festival (PF) group presents a booth called CCP Blooms at 50. The booth features a miniature version of the CCP Main Building decorated with multi-colored paper flowers. The PF group have chosen the iconic CCP Main Building as its primary component to give tribute to the CCP’s 50 years.
The term “Panagbenga” comes from a Kankanaey term meaning “season of blooming.”
This booth is a symbol of CCP’s own season of blooming.
The sunflowers celebrate the golden anniversary of the CCP. The red flowers symbolize the burning passion of the artists that have performed on its national stage, while the white flowers stand for CCP’s theme since Day 1: the true, the good, and the beautiful. The green flowers are the nurturing qualities of CCP programs for the next generation of audiences. And lastly, the fountain is the symbol of the Filipino imagination, an endless source of inspiration.
Welcome to our booth!
This is where Panagbenga and CCP become one: a festival of culture and creativity.
