dayuhin mo na ang solidaridad book shop sa padre faura, ermita, manila!

notes ko:

1. andaming libro na maganda, mahusay at rare, iyong tipong di basta basta makikita sa national o booksale.

2. very organized ang shelves, malinis, komportable at tahimik sa loob ng shop.

3. may nakapaskil na recommendations din si sir f sionil kung wala kang maisip na particular book to buy. 100 books ang nasa list ni sir!

4. mayroon ding artworks for sale.

5. open ang solidaridad all days of the week except sundays and holidays,9am to 6pm.

6. si mam tessie pala ang taga ermita, hindi si sir. she was born in pgh and she grew up in a bigger house on that same location! siya pala ang ka-ermita ko! am so happy. babae rin!

7. isa sa masugid na customer noon si ninoy aquino. sabi ni sir f sionil, "ninoy's mind was like a sponge. he would buy books and read them all. we would discuss them here ( sa event space sa itaas ng book shop). noong nakulong siya, a courier would come to buy him books para basahin sa kulungan."

8. nakapaskil ang isang quote sa harapan ng shop: evil prospers where good people are silent. sabi ni sir f. sionil, bata pa siya when he first read this... in latin. at nagustuhan niya ito ever since. kaya hindi niya ito kinalimutan, bagkus ay ibinabahagi pa niya ito via the shop's window display.

9. baliktad ang christmas tree sa loob ng shop na ito. kakaiba!

10. solidaridad book shop is still owned and managed by mam tessie,90 yrs old, and sir f sionil jose, 95 years old. omg ang sarap gawing couple goals ang book shop at ang edad nila!
