Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Book Development Board is now accepting applications for the 2013 writing grant. We are calling upon authors with manuscripts for books to apply for the grant. The chosen manuscripts will receive a grant of at least P200,000.00 each.

Manuscripts should be on any of the following topics:

1) Local history of a province written in English or Filipino;
2) A Novel written in Ilocano;
3) Biography written in Cebuano; and
4) Appropriate livelihood/New technologies in entrepreneurship.

Attached are copies of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. 9521, Submission Guidelines and application form for the grant.
