- we use words in a transactional manner. pag nagbabayad tayo ng pamasahe, pag inuutusan ng nanay, pag nag-uutos sa bata.
-deepest survival instinct ay nasa sense of hearing natin, kaya di ka dapat naglalakad nang may takip sa tenga. malamang na madidisgrasya ka.
-when politicians lie, they don't really care about words, wala silang paki sa epekto ng mga salita.
-practical busines of living- that's how we use words, for transactions.
-when we write, we don't just transact, kaya may catharsis when you write about it.
-this is what writing does, minimina talaga ang nasa loob.
-words can hurt, words ca heal
-lahat ng suicide first aid kits, laging may talk, talk to the person in more than transactional way.
-maybe they were gfoing through something that they can't say nor articulate. maybe because of social norms or expectations ng lipunan sa iyo.
-when i learned not to use the words in non-transactional way, that's when writing helped me keep my life, to keep on living.
- sad/depressed -feelings, pareho ng tawag kaya nakakalito.
-depressed -clinical, disease.
-what's in your head, stays on your head. luma na 'yan, mali pa.
-we are the most stressed generation
-soldiers who survived held on to one meaning of their life.
-when you write your feelings, i-revise mo ang naiisip mo, nilalagyan mo ito ng estruktura, nagiging less chaotic.
-healthy mind manila- was I was inside the Healthy Mind, Manila.
